Turbo Tuning

Evo400 ball bearing turbo with 4inch inlet ported shroud & 10.5t housing

This was a joint development between EVO400, Turbo dynamics tested by Dentist mapped. This should develop around 400bhp and 400lb/ft with the right modifications and the right map set up. It is critical with this turbo to keep the EGB/ inlet manifold pressure ratio to a minimum to achieve best results. The turbo spools up around 300-500rpm faster than standard still and max torque should be achieved by 3500rpm. Check dyno graph

The turbo should develop boost 500 rpm faster than a standard turbo and allows slightly more air at the top end due to the bearing allowing more RPM. This should give 10bhp more than standard and with the right modifications can develop 400bhp.

For this upgrade if you are going to run more than 1.6bar of boost then I would recommend you go for the M800 as this will allow you to get rid of the MAF sensor also this the MoTeC M800 will allow a 3inch or 4inch induction pipe.

T38 reverse spin TURBO

based on the T38 turbo this turbo is capable of over 450bhp+, full testing of this prototype is not fully completed yet and more results will be available in the near future. Bigger injectors and fully programmable ECU is a must. currently this turbo is on an evo9 runing 750cc injectors and MoTeC M800 ECU.
